What you will do
- Undertake comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments for adults within community settings.
- Assess functional ability, independence, and environmental needs with a focus on minor aids and adaptations.
- Recommend, arrange, and oversee the provision of specialist equipment and adaptations.
- Complete moving and handling assessments where required.
- Provide expert advice on equipment, adaptations, and solutions that promote independence and safety.
- Manage a high-volume caseload and deliver interventions within a 15-day service target.
- Work collaboratively with service users, carers, contractors, housing services, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop person-centred intervention plans focused on achieving positive outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed records, reports, and case documentation.
- Contribute to the efficient delivery of Adult Social Care Occupational Therapy services.
