What you will do

  • Manual Handling Expertise: Prescribe and demonstrate complex moving and handling equipment, including hoists, sliding sheets, and slings.
  • Promoting Independence: Support smarter care approaches to enable residents to achieve optimal independence.
  • Specialist Seating: Apply knowledge of specialist seating and ensure appropriate adjustments are made.
  • Adaptations: Prescribe and develop specifications for specialist home adaptations.
  • Service Delivery: Support the Occupational Therapy team in delivering efficient, value-driven care aligned with service goals.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Proven experience in manual handling, equipment provision, and housing adaptations.
  • Strong assessment and practical skills in complex care environments.
  • Full UK driving licence.
