What you will do:

  • Assess and provide recommendations for major adaptations and complex equipment.
  • Prepare sketches, interpret plans, and provide detailed specifications for major works.
  • Engage in manual handling and collaborate within a multi-professional team.
  • Conduct complex Occupational Therapy assessments and develop support plans and reviews for individuals with diverse health conditions and their carers.
  • Understand the legal social care framework and housing legislation, applying this in daily tasks.
  • Manage and prioritise complex cases effectively while progressing them as needed.
  • Assess, recommend, and review both simple and complex equipment, ensuring safe use and compliance with relevant guidelines.
  • Fulfill duties autonomously, planning and managing your own workload efficiently.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration is essential.
  • Experience with specialist equipment, major adaptations, and manual handling is crucial.
  • You must be an experienced car driver, as travel forms part of this dynamic role.
