This is an exciting opportunity for a part-time qualified Occupational Therapist to join the Major Adaptations Social Services team in Leicester, where your expertise can make a significant difference in people's lives. Ideal for someone with Adult Social Care experience, this role is full-time, with hours from 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments in clients' homes across Leicester to determine their adaptation needs for enhanced accessibility.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement major home adaptation plans.
- Provide expert advice and support to clients and families to facilitate independence and improve quality of life.
- Liaise with contractors and other professionals to ensure adaptations are installed effectively and meet safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with HCPC standards.
Candidates must be HCPC registered and hold a valid UK driving licence to travel across the city for home assessments.
