We are recruiting two Community Occupational Therapists to conduct in-person assessments and reviews within the community, with one office day per week. This role requires you to be skilled in manual handling, adept at conducting risk assessments, and knowledgeable on assistive technologies. Experience with Care Act and Mental Capacity Act assessments is essential, and you will be conducting all reviews face-to-face, meaning no telephone assessments. To be considered, you need to be HCPC-registered and although a car driver is preferable, it is not mandatory.
What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive in-person assessments and reviews within the community.
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement care plans tailored to individuals' needs.
- Ensure compliance with the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act during all assessments.
- Provide guidance on and evaluate the use of assistive technologies to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interventions.
