Role overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Social Care Team across Oxford, Banbury, and Abingdon. This ongoing, full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate of £38.00 and a flexible hybrid working model, providing both stability and autonomy.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred occupational therapy interventions, supporting adults to live as independently and safely as possible within their own homes and communities.

What you will do

  • Attend the office at least one day per week, with flexibility to work from Samuelson House (Banbury) or Abbey Centre (Abingdon); additional office attendance may be required depending on service needs.

  • Travel county-wide to carry out assessments and reviews, with mileage claimable from your office base.

  • Support and contribute to annual reviews, including bed leavers, bed raising, hoists, and manual handling assessments.

  • Complete timely, high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions in line with adult social care standards.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for service users.
