Key Responsibilities

• Therapeutic Intervention:

  • Deliver individualised occupational therapy interventions tailored to children and young people with complex needs.

• Consultation & Guidance:

  • Provide expert consultation to education and residential teams, promoting a clinically informed learning and living environment.

• Training & Development:

  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance the knowledge and skills of colleagues supporting young people.

• Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration:

  • Work closely with fellow Occupational Therapists and other professionals to ensure holistic and consistent care.

• Family & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build positive relationships with young people, families, and stakeholders to promote outstanding developmental outcomes.

• Leadership & Best Practice:

  • Act as a role model, guide, and mentor within the service, supporting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
