Occupational Therapist - 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract
Hours - Full time - 37.5 hours per week
Location - Romford
Salary - up to 35,000

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join a supportive and compassionate healthcare team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by supporting their recovery and promoting independence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess clients' physical, mental, and emotional needs to develop tailored intervention plans that promote independence and daily living skills.
  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions, including adaptive techniques, assistive technology, and therapeutic activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers to achieve holistic care and rehabilitation goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as required to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records, complete risk assessments, and adhere to professional and organisational standards.

Essential requirements:
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience working with diverse client groups, including those with physical, mental health, or developmental needs.
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Previous experience in a clinical or community setting is preferred.
