Key Responsibilities
- Assess clients' physical, mental, and emotional needs to develop tailored intervention plans that promote independence and daily living skills.
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions, including adaptive techniques, assistive technology, and therapeutic activities.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers to achieve holistic care and rehabilitation goals.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as required to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, complete risk assessments, and adhere to professional and organisational standards.
Essential requirements:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience working with diverse client groups, including those with physical, mental health, or developmental needs.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Previous experience in a clinical or community setting is preferred.
