OH Medical is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a specialist Occupational Health & Wellbeing team on a temporary contract basis. This is a part-time opportunity offering 15 to 22.5 hours per week across 2 or 3 days, with flexible home-based working and occasional attendance at offices in North Yorkshire.

This autonomous role is focused on occupational health case management and offers the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team of Occupational Health professionals delivering high-quality services across a diverse workforce.



Duties

• Deliver occupational health case management services to employees across a range of sectors.
• Conduct occupational health assessments and provide evidence-based reports and recommendations.
• Manage a varied caseload independently, ensuring timely and effective case resolution.
• Provide practical advice and guidance to managers and employees on health-related workplace issues.
• Support positive health and wellbeing outcomes through proactive occupational health interventions.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with professional and organisational standards.
• Work collaboratively with Occupational Health Advisers, Technicians and wider wellbeing teams.
• Contribute to the delivery of occupational health and wellbeing services as required.

Criteria

• Registered Nurse with a recognised Occupational Health qualification.
• Proven experience working as an Occupational Health Advisor.
• Extensive case management experience within an Occupational Health setting.
• Strong understanding of occupational health best practice and the practical application of workplace health advice.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Ability to manage an autonomous workload effectively.
• Customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Previous experience working within public sector environments would be beneficial.

Salary & Benefits

• Umbrella rate of £44.14 per hour.
• Part-time role, 15 to 22.5 hours per week.
• Flexible working arrangements with home-based working available.
• Initial contract from July 2026 to September 2026.
• Opportunity to work within an established and supportive Occupational Health team.
• Inside IR35 contract.
