OH Medical is recruiting for an Occupational Health Advisor to join a site-based Occupational Health service in West Bromwich. Working closely with HR and line managers, you will deliver a comprehensive Occupational Health service, with a particular focus on health surveillance, fitness for work assessments, case management and employee wellbeing.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health professional who enjoys working autonomously within a busy operational environment and building strong relationships across the business. The role would particularly suit someone with experience in manufacturing, although food manufacturing experience is preferred rather than essential.

Duties
- Deliver statutory health surveillance and maintain compliance across the site.
- Undertake pre-employment health screening and fitness for work assessments.
- Support HR and line managers with absence, ill-health and capability case management.
- Provide practical and timely Occupational Health advice.
- Coordinate and promote health and wellbeing campaigns.
- Deliver health education through written information and training sessions.
- Complete health surveillance KPIs and reporting.
- Build effective relationships with Occupational Health, Health & Safety, HR and management teams.
- Registered General Nurse with a recognised Occupational Health qualification.
- Competent and up to date with statutory health surveillance requirements.
- Able to provide expert, timely and practical Occupational Health advice.
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills.
- Organised and methodical approach to confidential records management and data protection.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively within a site-based environment.
- Previous experience within food manufacturing would be beneficial but is not essential.
- £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
- 25 days' annual leave per year.

Salary range
- £50,000 - £55,000 per year
