Occupational Health Advisor

OH Medical is recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a leading Occupational Health provider supporting a client site in Newton Aycliffe. This is a full-time or part-time permanent opportunity, with a minimum of three days per week on site. Offering a salary of up to £43,000 depending on experience, this varied role combines case management, health surveillance and wellbeing services within a supportive multidisciplinary team.



Duties

• Deliver occupational health case management and complex management referrals.
• Undertake fitness for work assessments and provide evidence-based clinical advice.
• Carry out health surveillance, vaccinations and phlebotomy.
• Deliver workplace health promotion and wellbeing initiatives.
• Support employee rehabilitation and return-to-work programmes.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with GDPR and professional standards.
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to provide an excellent Occupational Health service.
• Participate in clinical audits, CPD and NMC revalidation activities.

Criteria

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Occupational Health Degree or Diploma.
• Minimum of two years' Occupational Health case management experience, including complex referrals.
• Competent in health surveillance, fitness for work medicals, vaccinations and phlebotomy.
• Experience delivering workplace health promotion and wellbeing events.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience within the rail sector would be beneficial.
