OH Medical is currently recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a leading Occupational Health provider supporting a client site in Hull.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Occupational Health Advisor looking for a flexible part-time contract, working with a well-established Occupational Health team delivering a broad range of Occupational Health services.
The Role
As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting employee health, wellbeing and attendance through a combination of case management, health surveillance and clinical advice.
This position is primarily site-based in Hull for 3 days per week and will involve working closely with employees, managers and HR teams to deliver a high-quality Occupational Health service.

Occupational Health Advisor Responsibilities
- Conducting management referrals and case management assessments
- Providing fitness for work advice and workplace adjustment recommendations
- Undertaking sickness absence and return-to-work assessments
- Delivering health surveillance programmes
- Completing HAVS Tier 3 assessments
- Providing health promotion and wellbeing advice
- Maintaining accurate and confidential Occupational Health records
- Producing clear and professional Occupational Health reports
- Liaising with managers, HR teams and external healthcare professionals where appropriate
Occupational Health Advisor Requirements
To be considered for this Occupational Health Advisor role, you will need:
- Current NMC Nurse Registration
- Occupational Health qualification (essential)
- Previous experience working as an Occupational Health Advisor
- Strong case management experience
- Competency in health surveillance
- HAVS Tier 3 qualification and experience
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to the Hull site as required
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
