What you will do:
- Conduct community visits throughout Devon to assess and support clients in their home environments.
- Work on complex cases requiring expert knowledge in occupational therapy for social care.
- Recommend and arrange necessary equipment and adaptations to improve clients' quality of life.
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for all clients.
- Maintain detailed records of assessments, recommendations, and outcomes.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
- Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist, ideally with NHS experience.
- Must be registered with the HCPC.
- Proven experience in statutory/social care OT work with the ability to handle complex cases.
