What you will do:
- Assess the functional needs of children to develop and implement highly specialist paediatric occupational therapy treatments and interventions.
- Independently manage a defined caseload of complex cases, using excellent problem-solving and reasoning skills.
- Write detailed reports and programmes demonstrating extensive specialist knowledge, including NA2 reports for EHCPs and potential tribunal reports.
- Provide expert advice on managing occupational performance difficulties due to physical, sensory, perceptual, or developmental disabilities.
- Involve patients and carers in planning and prioritising care, respecting cultural differences and diversity.
- Monitor, evaluate, and modify interventions using evidence-based practice and outcome measures to ensure effective case management.

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
- Recent experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the UK
- Experience within the NHS
- HCPC registration
