Embark on an exciting locum opportunity as a Band 6/7 Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the vibrant city of Brighton, UK. This full-time role offers a generous hourly rate of £31 and requires an ASAP start for an ongoing period. You will be key in performing essential tasks in Nuclear Medicine and PETCT, including drawing up and injecting radiopharmaceuticals, conducting general nuclear medicine and PETCT scans, managing patient questionnaires, and more. Collaborate with inpatient wards, manage radiopharmaceutical orders, and ensure safety through radiation monitoring.

What you will do:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring safe handling and accurate dosing.
- Perform general nuclear medicine and PETCT scans with a focus on precision and patient care.
- Handle patient questionnaires, offer thorough IV cannulation, and accurately measure blood sugar levels.
- Process images efficiently and assist with patient booking logistics.
- Liaise seamlessly with inpatient wards and suppliers to enhance service delivery.
- Monitor radiation levels to ensure personal and environmental safety.
- Report to the Nuclear Medicine/PETCT department with keen attention to detail.
