What you will do:
- Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team alongside Consultant Radiologists, Advanced Practitioners, and Assistant Practitioners.
- Participate actively in assessment clinics with the NHSBSP triple assessment approach: mammography/ultrasound, clinical examination, and needle biopsy.
- Seize opportunities for professional development by engaging in managerial duties and potentially deputising for the Superintendent Radiographer.
- Provide a crucial service that genuinely impacts women's lives every day, offering compassionate care to nervous or anxious clients.
- Perform high-quality mammograms and engage in stereotactic biopsies, while mentoring and supporting Assistant Practitioners.
- Operate on a rota basis across various mobile screening sites and at the Jarvis Centre, adapting to different work environments.
- Maintain clinical equipment, uphold rigorous QA processes, and keep your CPD portfolio up to date with the latest trends and techniques in mammography.

Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Radiography is essential, ensuring you have the foundational knowledge required for this specialised role.
- Recent UK experience working as a Radiographer will provide you with valuable insights and familiarity with NHS systems.
- Registration with the HCPC is a must, affirming your credentials as a qualified professional in radiography.
