Monday to Friday (between 7:30am – 6:30pm, rota basis)

Level: Level 3 (A Level Equivalent)
Duration: 18 months

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Petite Starz Nursery is a friendly and nurturing childcare setting dedicated to providing high-quality early years education in a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment. The nursery is committed to supporting children's learning and development while helping apprentices build the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed for a successful career in childcare.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Your responsibilities may include:

• Support managers with the day-to-day running of the nursery

• Supervise and support children's learning and development at all times

• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

• Liaise with and support parents and family members

• Assist with preparing lunches, snacks, and cleaning nursery equipment

• Comply with Health & Safety policies and procedures

• Maintain confidentiality where appropriate

• Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated nursery team

• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, parents' evenings, and fundraising events

• Support the creation of a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment

• Assist with daily nursery routines and activities

• Encourage children's learning through play and planned educational activities

TRAINING

During your apprenticeship, you will:

• Receive regular training and support from Excellence Solutions Limited

• Complete at least 20% off-the-job training

• Study towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification

• Gain hands-on experience in a real working environment

• Develop knowledge of child development, safeguarding, and early years education

• Build the skills required for a long-term career in the childcare sector
