Priory Hospital Roehampton is looking to recruit an Integrative/ EMDR Therapist to join the team. This is a part-time/15-hour role.
Priory Hospital Roehampton, a registered hospital in London, is a welcoming and highly respected rehab facility, offering expert mental health and addiction treatment.
We support people facing a wide range of mental health challenges, providing specialist care for depression, anxiety and addictions. Our team offers tailored treatment for substance addictions, including alcohol, cocaine and heroin, as well as behavioural addictions like gambling. We also provide outpatient support for adults with eating disorders.
What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
What you'll bring to the role

Candidates should hold a recognized qualification in counselling, psychotherapy, or psychology, with specialized training and certification in EMDR therapy. Experience in delivering integrative trauma-focused therapy, combining EMDR with other therapeutic modalities, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of complex trauma, PTSD, and related mental health conditions, alongside excellent clinical assessment and treatment planning skills. Strong communication abilities, professionalism, and commitment to ongoing supervision and professional development are also required. Experience working within multidisciplinary teams is highly desirable.

- Deliver trauma-focused therapy using EMDR as a core modality, integrated with other therapeutic approaches such as CBT, psychodynamic, or person-centred frameworks.
- Conduct comprehensive client assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to complex trauma presentations.
- Provide therapy to individuals dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, and related mental health difficulties.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with professional and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and participate in clinical supervision and ongoing professional development.
