Looking for flexibility without losing the clinical impact? OH Medical is recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a leading Occupational Health provider in a hybrid Occupational Health Advisor role.
This role offers a great blend of onsite and remote working:
- 2 days per week onsite in Derby (fixed client requirement)
- The rest of your time can be worked remotely
- Full-time hours available, or part-time (2 days) if you're looking for something more focused
The Role
As an Occupational Health Advisor, you'll deliver a high-quality, evidence-based service supporting employee health and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities of this Occupational Health Advisor role include:
- Managing case management referrals and producing detailed reports
- Providing advice on fitness for work and sickness absence
- Triaging referrals and managing clinical workflows
- Supporting health surveillance escalations
- Completing pre-placement questionnaires (PPQs)
- Providing travel health advice
- Advising on Occupational Health legislation and best practice
What We're Looking For In An Occupational Health Advisor
To be considered for this Occupational Health Advisor job, you'll need:
- NMC Registered Nurse
- Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health (essential)
- Strong experience in case management and OH advisory work
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Ability to work both independently remotely and onsite as part of a team
- Good IT skills and understanding of data protection and confidentiality
- NMC Part 3 (SCPHN - Occupational Health)
- MSc in Occupational Health or related field
- Experience in vaccinations, ergonomics, or mentoring
