What you'll be doing as an Occupational Health Advisor
As an Occupational Health Advisor, you'll deliver a full remit OH service with the flexibility of hybrid working and flexi hours this full time role will see you provide the full remit of a first class OH service.
Service Delivery
- Deliver case management, fitness for work advice and health surveillance
- Provide clear, evidence-based reports to support management decisions
- Lead on health promotion and wellbeing initiatives
- Maintain accurate and confidential OH records
- Support absence management, including long-term absence and return to work plans
- Provide advice aligned with the Equality Act and workplace adjustments
- Conduct pre-employment and in-employment screening
- Deliver training on health risk assessments and workplace health topics
- Support managers to build healthier, more productive teams
- Contribute to development of OH policies and procedures
- Integrate Occupational Health into wider business strategy to improve outcomes
What we're looking for in an Occupational Health Advisor
- NMC Registered Nurse, ideally with an Occupational Health qualification / SCPHN (OH)
- Strong experience working as an Occupational Health Advisor
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and workplace health risks
- Experience managing complex casework and advising stakeholders
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build relationships
- IT literate with strong organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
