Histology Biomedical Scientist

Mediplacements are looking for a skilled and experienced band 6 Histology Dissection Biomedical Scientist to fill an ongoing locum role in our client's laboratory based in Buckinghamshire.

This position is due to start as soon as possible with a pay rate of up to £24 per hour. This is a part time role, 22.5 hours per week.

Job Description:

• HCPC registration required.
• BSc in Biomedical Science or an equivalent qualification
• Recent hospital-based experience required within Histology essential.
• Evidence of Continual Professional Development (CPD).
• Candidates will be required to attend an unpaid trial prior to an offer being made.

The successful candidate must be HCPC registered and have experience with histology techniques such as embedding, sectioning, staining, and reporting of histology specimens. They must also be familiar with the use of a range of laboratory equipment and be able to troubleshoot and maintain them as required.
