Health Improvement Advisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Derbyshire County Councils Public Health Department to support the delivery of Tobacco Dependency Treatment. We are looking to appoint a Health Improvement Advisor to deliver Tobacco Dependency Treatment across an acute inpatients setting, based at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and growing service which is looking for individuals with a passion and ability for supporting people addicted to tobacco.

You will require excellent communication and listening skills with a knowledge and understanding of behaviour change. You will require experience of working independently and the role also requires partnership working and promotion. A good level of IT literacy will also be required to navigate IT systems and ensure high quality data. Knowledge and experience of tobacco dependency would be advantageous for this role.
