Healthcare Assistant - Gloucester

£15 per hour | 1 day per week (Wednesday) | Flexible working days

A well-established and supportive GP surgery in Gloucester (GL1) is looking to recruit an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join its friendly clinical team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HCA looking for a flexible role within a welcoming primary care environment, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Working as part of the clinical team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support with a range of standard Healthcare Assistant duties, including:

• Taking bloods
• Recording blood pressure, pulse and other observations
• Health checks
• ECGs
• Supporting chronic disease reviews
• Preparing patients for clinical appointments
• Supporting the wider nursing and clinical team

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant, ideally within primary care
• Confidence carrying out standard HCA clinical duties
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A caring, professional and patient-focused approach
• The ability to work effectively as part of a wider clinical team
