HCA Requirements

• Should have good numeracy and literacy skills
• NHS experience is desirable
• Eligibility to work in the UK

The Role

• Confident operating machines and can record data accurately
• Working face-to-face with patients from various backgrounds
• Strong communicator
• Minor surgery / minor ops clinics
  
  Dermatology
  
  Surgical outpatients
  
  Day surgery units
  
  GP treatment rooms
  
  Wound care and dressings
  
  Assisting CNSs and Consultants during procedures
• Previous experience supporting minor procedures, maintaining sterile fields, specimen handling and infection prevention & control would be highly advantageous.
