What you will do
- Provide high-quality healthcare to a diverse prison population, managing a broad range of clinical needs.
- Conduct clinical assessments and diagnoses, making informed and timely decisions regarding patient management.
- Act as a specialist clinical resource for patients and colleagues while contributing to clinical governance and service improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate first-night prescribing and urgent follow-up care in collaboration with senior nursing staff.
- Participate in substance misuse prescribing and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
- MBChB or MBBS qualification.
- Inclusion on the General Medical Council (GMC) Register and the GP Performers List.
- Evidence of annual appraisals and ongoing continuing professional development.
