About the Role

As an ENT Surgeon at LRH, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality specialist care to a diverse regional population. You will work collaboratively with a supportive team of ENT specialists, junior doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals, while contributing to the ongoing development of ENT services across the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing ENT services within your credentialed scope to LRH patients, ensuring best‑practice, patient‑centred care.
• Peri‑operative management of your patients, including pre‑ and post‑operative discussions.
• Clinical leadership through supervision, teaching, and mentorship of junior medical and nursing staff.
• Service integration with key departments including Operating Theatres, Critical Care, Emergency, Medical/Surgical Units, and Allied Health.
• Participation in audit and quality improvement, contributing to LRH’s commitment to safe, high‑quality care.
• Supporting research and contributing to ongoing service development aligned with LRH’s strategic plan.

About You

Essential qualifications and experience:

• MBBS or equivalent
• Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
• Fellowship with ASOHNS (or equivalent UK/Irish fellowship with eligibility for Australian recognition)
• Demonstrated senior‑level ENT clinical experience
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues
• Commitment to clinical governance, quality improvement, and multidisciplinary teamwork
