Educational Psychologist - Hybrid Role

Location: Birmingham
Salary: Up to 65,000 + 3,600 allowance + mileage contribution
Contract: Full-Time (Flexible working options available)

About the Role

We are recruiting an experienced and passionate Educational Psychologist to join a growing, well-structured service in Birmingham. This is a hybrid role, offering an excellent balance between remote working and school-based visits, designed to support a healthy work-life balance.
You will work across a network of 8 services, delivering high-quality psychological assessment, consultation and intervention across educational settings, while benefiting from a highly organised travel and school allocation model.

Working Model & Travel
  • Hybrid working model
  • Travel is included within the working day
  • Only 25% of the month involves travel
  • Schools are paired geographically, allowing visits to two schools in one day
  • Each school requires one visit per month
  • Travel is structured, planned and manageable (not daily travel)
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver psychological assessments and consultations in educational settings
  • Support children and young people with a range of learning, behavioural and emotional needs
  • Work collaboratively with schools, families, and multidisciplinary professionals
  • Contribute to EHCP processes and reports
  • Provide consultation, training and advice to education staff
  • Support service development and best practice
Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified Educational Psychologist
  • HCPC registered (or eligible)
  • Experience working across educational settings
  • Strong assessment, report writing and consultation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider service
