What you will do

• Provide psychological consultation, assessment and intervention for children and young people experiencing learning, emotional, behavioural or developmental difficulties.
• Lead and contribute to Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments in accordance with SEND legislation and local authority requirements.
• Work as a named link Educational Psychologist for allocated schools and educational settings, delivering preventative and solution-focused support.
• Undertake therapeutic and systemic work with children, families, schools, and community partners to improve educational and wellbeing outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience Needed

• Doctorate in Educational Psychology (or equivalent recognised qualification).
• Eligibility for Chartered Membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
• Ongoing commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
• Registered Educational Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Experience working within a Local Authority Educational Psychology Service or similar public sector environment.
• Proven involvement in statutory SEND assessments and EHCP processes.
