Role purpose

To deliver high-quality psychological services to children and young people aged 0-25, their families, and educational settings, supporting learning, wellbeing, and inclusion. The post holder will contribute to statutory assessments, early intervention, and systemic change across Torbay.

What you will do

  • Undertake psychological assessments using evidence-based approaches to support Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs).

  • Produce clear, high-quality psychological advice and reports in line with statutory requirements.

  • Provide consultation and intervention for children and young people with SEND, social, emotional, and mental health needs, and neurodevelopmental differences.

  • Promote inclusive, strengths-based, and trauma-informed practice across educational settings.

  • Work collaboratively with schools, early years providers, families, and carers to support positive outcomes.
