Purpose of the Role:

The Educational Psychologist will provide psychological assessments, interventions, and support for children and young people within the London Borough of Enfield. Your work will focus on promoting inclusive education, emotional wellbeing, and positive learning outcomes by collaborating with schools, families, and other professionals.

What You Will Do:

Assessment & Consultation:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for children and young people, including those with special educational needs (SEN), behavioural difficulties, or emotional and social challenges.

  • Offer consultation and advice to schools, parents, and professionals regarding psychological and developmental issues affecting children's learning and wellbeing.

  • Produce psychological reports identifying learning, social, and emotional needs, and recommend suitable interventions.

  • Participate in statutory assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), contributing to the SEND process.

Intervention & Support:

  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to support children and young people with emotional, behavioural, and learning challenges.

  • Provide support to schools in fostering positive menta
