Description
Priory Hospital Cheadle is looking to recruit a dietitian to join the team on our EDU. This is a full time role of 37.5 hours on site.

Set within picturesque landscaped gardens in Stockport, Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal offers a range of comprehensive inpatient mental health services for young people and adults.


What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients
  • Receives and responds promptly to referrals, undertaking consultations and assessments to determine effective dietary and nutritional plans for assigned clients using appropriate interventions.
  • Plans, monitors and reviews dietary and nutritional interventions ensuring they continue to meet the needs of the patient and are consistent with the provisions detailed in the client's general therapy plan.
  • Manages, monitors and reviews an assigned caseload, providing clinical supervision of dietary and nutritional plans and through regular consultation and liaison with professional and clinical colleagues.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records in the form of case notes, case files, clinical reports, computerised system information and other associated documentation, presenting and sharing relevant information and knowledge concerning assigned clients with professional and clinical colleagues at regular multi-disciplinary team meetings.

What you'll bring to the role

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in dietetics or nutrition, complemented by a relevant postgraduate qualification in a specialized area. They must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HPC) and be a member of an appropriate professional institution. The role requires relevant experience gained in a suitable setting, where the individual has developed practical expertise in designing interventions for both physical and psychological conditions.
