Description
Priory Hospital Southampton are looking for a passionate and motivated Dietitian to join our specialist Eating Disorders (ED) inpatient ward, with an exciting opportunity to be involved in the development of a new Eating Disorders Day Service programme.
This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week.
What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients
What you'll bring to the role
You will be an HCPC-registered Dietitian, ideally with experience in eating disorders, although applicants with a strong mental health background are also encouraged to apply. You will be confident working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and motivated to contribute to ongoing service development.
Knowledge around nutritional rehabilitation and the management of refeeding risk in eating disorders.

- Manage a 13-patient caseload within a specialist ED setting
- Work as part of a robust, supportive multidisciplinary team (MDT)
- Provide clinical supervision and line management to a Dietetic Assistant for 2 days per week
- An exciting opportunity to shape and contribute to a new ED Day Service
- Hybrid working may be considered for the right, experienced candidate (otherwise, the role is primarily face-to-face)
