Description
Priory Hospital Roehampton is looking to recruit a Lead DBT Therapist to join the team. This is a full-time/37.5 Hours role.

We support people facing a wide range of mental health challenges, providing specialist care for depression, anxiety and addictions. Our team offers tailored treatment for substance addictions, including alcohol, cocaine and heroin, as well as behavioural addictions like gambling. We also provide outpatient support for adults with eating disorders.

What you'll be doing

As Lead DBT Therapist, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.

What you'll bring to the role

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a highly specialist therapeutic service for individuals requiring DBT intervention. This position involves significant leadership responsibilities, including supporting the ongoing development and growth of the DBT service at Priory Hospital Roehampton. The post holder will ensure program fidelity and team adherence by guiding colleagues across various treatment modes. Additionally, they will be responsible for tracking client progress through outcome measures and liaising with primary therapists to support continuous and successful service improvement. Desirable qualifications include a PGDip in DBT (British Isles DBT training) with a minimum of intensive DBT training from British Isles DBT. Candidates must be EMDR trained (essential) and have a primary background as either a CBT Therapist or an Integrative Therapist.
