We are recruiting dedicated and compassionate female Healthcare Assistants to support a young female client living in Clacton-on-Sea. She has Cerebral Palsy, severe scoliosis, PEG feeding needs, and benefits from gentle, regular repositioning throughout the day.
This is a lovely opportunity to provide consistent, person-centred care within a warm and friendly family environment. The client enjoys interaction, sensory activities, and being supported to access the community daily.
About the Role
Shifts will include a mix of days and nights, with an expectation that successful applicants will complete their induction during daytime hours to build confidence and understanding of the client's routine.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:
- Personal care and supporting daily routines
- PEG feeding and following nutrition plans
- Medication administration
- Epilepsy awareness and monitoring
- Gentle repositioning and safe moving & handling
- Supporting daily hydrotherapy/swimming sessions
- Assisting with community activities such as local walks, drives and twice-monthly bowling trips
- Providing meaningful interaction - she enjoys reading, sensory play and familiar characters such as Iggle Piggle
- Supporting comfort, emotional wellbeing and safety
- Working collaboratively with a supportive care team
We'd love to hear from carers who are:
- Experienced in supporting individuals with Cerebral Palsy or complex physical needs
- Confident with PEG management
- Competent with moving and handling, including support with bathing and swimming
- Aware of epilepsy risks and safe response procedures
- Bubbly, cheerful and engaging, with a warm personality
- Able to provide fun, sensory-led interaction - this client especially enjoys:
- Bright, pink, fluffy sensory items
- Story reading and one-to-one engagement
- Familiar children's characters
- Getting out for drives, fresh-air walks and community activities
- Hold a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle
- Already living in the UK (we cannot offer sponsorship)
- 8am-8pm shifts available.
- £14.30 - £17.60 per hour
- Paid induction and ongoing clinical training
