We need a Qualified Psychologist who's passionate about helping people with a range of complex mental health needs.

Joining our team on a full time basis, you will be working 37.5 hours per week, across 5 days.

Cygnet Hospital Harrow:

• Cygnet Hospital Harrow provides a recovery focused service treating a wide range of mental health problems. We also offer specialist diagnostic, assessment and inpatient services for individuals with mental health needs and who also have a dual diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder.
• Your day-to-day...
• Carry out psychological assessments & provide therapy to individuals & groups
• Work systemically with staff, as well as directly with service users
• Consult with staff, families & other agencies about the psychological care of the client group
• Offer psychological insight & knowledge to the multidisciplinary team
• Support the clinical, nursing & direct care teams in making skilled evaluations & decisions about risk
• Evaluate the service, contribute to its development & carry out clinical research.

We are looking for someone who is...

• An experienced Psychologist, ideally with an adult mental health client group
• Experienced in working as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledgeable of mental health legislation, risk assessment & risk management principles
• Preferably trained in complex therapies such as Schema focused, Cognitive Analytical & DBT
• Passionate about working with people with a range of complex mental health needs
• Capable of treating difficulties such as self-harm, physical & verbal aggression, history of sexual offending & drug & alcohol problems
• An excellent communicator.
