Priory Hospital Ticehurst is looking to recruit a CBT Therapist to join the team. This is a full-time/37.5 Hours role.
Priory Hospital Ticehurst House's Highlands Unit is a welcoming, nine-bed facility, offering person-centred care, treatment and support for adults facing mental health challenges.
Highlands is situated in a character building, within our extensive main grounds, in the beautiful East Sussex countryside. We can support people with a range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, stress and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients

The successful candidate will hold a recognised postgraduate qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and be accredited (or working towards accreditation) with the BABCP. Experience working with individuals presenting with a range of mental health conditions is essential, ideally within an NHS or similar clinical setting. Strong assessment, formulation, and communication skills are required, along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to clients presenting with a range of mental health difficulties.
- Manage a defined caseload, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and reviewing progress regularly.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support holistic client care and positive treatment outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with service and professional standards.
- Participate in supervision, training, and ongoing professional development to maintain accreditation and best practice.
