What You Will Do:

Carry out desk-based telephone assessments and in-person mobility evaluations to determine Blue Badge eligibility, in line with Department for Transport criteria.

Apply professional clinical judgement to assess how health conditions affect mobility during journeys.

Work closely with issuing assistants and applicants to ensure accurate decisions, offering clear explanations where needed.

Assess applications for both adults and children, considering all relevant legislation and guidance.

Support the Team Manager in handling complaints and appeals by providing informed, objective professional input.
