What you will do:

- Provide clinical leadership for inpatient pharmacy services across the hospital.
- Manage and support a team, including technicians and pharmacists, ensuring safe and effective service delivery.
- Collaborate closely with the community health services lead and Heads of Pharmacy to enhance clinical standards, spearhead service development, and strengthen medicines governance.
- Deliver exceptional clinical pharmacy services on the wards, including overseeing medicines reconciliation, conducting medication reviews, optimising medicines usage, and facilitating multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Offer dispensary oversight and perform clinical screening while supporting checking processes as appropriate.
- Contribute to safe staffing by covering clinical and operational duties during reduced staffing within the pharmacy team.
- Support audits for safe and secure storage of medicines, FP10s, and oxygen, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Lead on CQC preparation and provide assurance of readiness.
- Foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and effective team working.
- Must have experience with electronic prescribing systems.

Applicants must be HCPC registered and it is preferable to have a valid driving licence, as you may need to travel between sites as part of your duties.
