What you will do:

• Perform abdominal, renal, pelvic, transabdominal, and transvaginal ultrasound examinations.
• Produce accurate diagnostic reports for effective patient care.
• Manage and reduce the waiting list initiative patients, focusing on those waiting more than 365 days.
• Maintain precise ultrasound records and documentation.
• Ensure high standards of patient care and imaging quality.
• Support the reduction of long-wait ultrasound backlogs.

Requirements:

• Qualified Sonographer with relevant professional registration.
• Experience in NHS Sonography, specifically in abdominal, renal, pelvic, transabdominal, and transvaginal ultrasound scans.
• Ability to independently scan and report, combined with strong communication and organisational skills.

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience in scanning necks, thyroids, and testes, and assessing soft tissue lumps and hernias.
• Musculoskeletal ultrasound experience would be advantageous.
