What you will do

• Clinical Assessment: Deliver specialist assessments for adults with dysphagia and communication needs.
• Care Planning: Develop and implement personalised treatment plans for a range of neurological and complex conditions.
• Caseload Management: Manage an independent caseload across community and hospital environments.
• Multidisciplinary Working: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
• Supervision: Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to Band 6 therapists.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to professional standards.

Qualifications / Requirements

• HCPC Registration: Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
• Experience: Strong experience at Band 6/7 level, particularly within dysphagia and adult services.
• Clinical Skills: Expertise in managing complex swallowing and communication disorders.
• Leadership Ability: Experience supervising or supporting junior staff is desirable.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
