What you will do:

• Carry out specialist Speech and Language Therapy assessments and interventions for adults with complex communication needs and dysphagia.
• Manage and prioritise a defined caseload independently, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, and medical teams.
• Provide expert advice on dysphagia management, ensuring adherence to national patient safety and clinical governance standards.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

• Degree or equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy.
• HCPC registration as a Speech & Language Therapist.
• Membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) is desirable.

Registration & Compliance:

• Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act, Equality Act 2010, and NHS clinical governance frameworks.
• Understanding of CQC requirements and safeguarding policies.
