Role Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist assessment and intervention for stroke and non-stroke acute pathways.

• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualised, evidence-based care plans.

• Provide education, coaching and support to patients, families and carers to enhance communication and rehabilitation outcomes.

• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to service development and quality improvements.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient documentation, adhering to HCPC professional standards.

Requirements

• HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in stroke or acute care settings.

• Driving licence preferred for work across multiple sites in the Furness area.
