We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist to join the Dysphagia Team at West Middlesex University Hospital in Isleworth. This full-time position offers up to £31 per hour and spans over three months. We’re on the hunt for a skilled individual who thrives in an acute care setting and values autonomy.

What you will do:

• Conduct dysphagia assessments and tailor rehabilitation programmes on the acute wards, with possible cover for the stroke unit.
• Provide communication input where necessary, enhancing patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Ideally, share your skills in videofluoroscopy and tracheostomy management.
• Ensure all practices adhere to HCPC standards, promoting safe and effective service delivery.

This position requires you to be registered with the HCPC and have a driving licence to facilitate your responsibilities across the hospital setting. Although previous experience with videofluoroscopy and tracheostomy is desirable, it will not limit your ability to be considered for this role.
