Exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Pharmacist to join the Medicine, Surgery and Orthopaedics Team within Blackpool Teaching Hospitals. This is a full-time, ongoing locum position based across multiple sites, offering a competitive hourly rate of £31. What You Will Do

  • Undertake ward-based clinical pharmacy work within an acute trust, covering general medicine, surgery, and orthopaedics.

  • Carry out medicines reconciliation, patient reviews, clinical interventions, and support safe and timely discharges.

  • Use the electronic prescribing system at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals to support accurate and efficient medicines management.

  • Work onsite as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care.

  • Apply your previous acute hospital experience to improve patient outcomes and support safe, effective use of medicines.

Requirements

  • HCPC registration is required.

  • A minimum of two years' post-qualification experience is required.

  • Being a car driver is preferable but not essential.

Salary range

  • £31 per hour
