About the Role
Are you an experienced and passionate Paediatric Occupational Therapist seeking a role where you can make a lasting difference in the lives of children and young people? We are offering an exciting opportunity to join the Children in Need Team within the Children and Family Community Service in the beautiful island setting of Guernsey.
In this role, you will contribute to the delivery of a high-quality Occupational Therapy service across the Bailiwick, supporting children and young people with complex needs from birth to 18 years old. You will work collaboratively with families, carers, and multidisciplinary professionals to achieve meaningful outcomes that promote independence, development, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Lead for Children's Occupational Therapy in delivering an effective and high-quality service.

Manage a defined caseload of children and young people with complex and varied needs.

Conduct assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions in homes, schools, and community settings.

Assess and treat children's gross and fine motor skills, sensory processing, daily living, and independence skills.

Advise on and arrange specialist equipment and adaptations for home and school environments.

Develop and review treatment plans in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary colleagues.
