What you will do:

• Manage a specialist clinical caseload of patients with complex occupational therapy needs.
• Deliver person-centred, evidence-based occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
• Complete comprehensive functional assessments and identify therapeutic needs, risks, and barriers.
• Undertake structured initial assessments and interpret referrals.
• Develop and deliver individualised treatment plans with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team colleagues.
• Provide Occupational Therapy input across inpatient and community settings.
• Contribute specialist Occupational Therapy knowledge within multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide clinical leadership and support service planning and development.
• Coordinate day-to-day Occupational Therapy service provision.
• Supervise, support, and develop junior Occupational Therapists and support staff.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to audits, governance activities, service improvement initiatives, and quality assurance projects.
• Support risk management and safeguarding processes.

Requirements:

• HCPC Registration: HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist (or eligible for registration)
