What you will do:

  • Provide expert occupational therapy services to patients within the oncology team, supporting them throughout treatment and recovery.

  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate personalised treatment programmes.

  • Carry out specialist assessments and interventions for patients undergoing surgery, including ITU, neurosurgery, and cardiothoracic surgery.

  • Collaborate with patients and their families to set and review therapeutic goals focused on maximising independence and quality of life.

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical records in line with professional standards and local policies.

  • Engage in continuous professional development to maintain high standards of practice within the oncology specialty.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration is essential.

  • Proven experience working within oncology services.

  • Essential experience in surgery, including ITU, neurosurgery, and cardiothoracic surgery.

  • A valid UK driving licence is required due to travel between London sites.
