What you will do:

  • Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations, excluding obstetric imaging.
  • Independently produce detailed, accurate, and timely clinical reports.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain an organised, respectful, and reassuring environment for patients throughout their diagnostic journey.
  • Travel to various community sites across Torbay to provide ultrasound services where required.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, technical expertise, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Requirements:

  • Registered Sonographer - Must hold relevant professional registration and qualifications.
  • General ultrasound experience - Proven experience performing and reporting on a range of general ultrasound examinations.
  • Driving licence - Full driving licence required to travel between community sites.
  • Strong communication skills - Ability to work effectively with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
