About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Clinical Psychologist or Family Therapist to join the Adolescent Treatment Team in Lewisham. This ongoing locum role offers a competitive hourly rate of £31.37, with flexible part-time and full-time options available.

You will work within a dynamic, community-based setting, supporting high-risk adolescents with complex mental health needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working within a skilled and supportive multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

Assessment & Care Planning

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for adolescents with complex presentations.

• Develop and implement evidence-based, person-centred care plans.

Therapeutic Intervention

• Deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to individual and family needs.

• Manage a focused caseload of approximately 10-12 young people.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration

• Work closely with psychiatry and wider MDT colleagues to provide holistic, coordinated care.

• Contribute actively to clinical discussions and joint decision-making processes.

Complex & Neurodiverse Presentations

• Support neurodiverse young people and those presenting with severe and enduring mental health difficulties, including psychosis.

Professional Engagement

• Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, and professional consultations to ensure high-quality service delivery.
