Exciting Opportunity: Band 7 Children's Speech and Language Therapist in Wolverhampton, offering up to £31 per hour on a locum basis for a 3-month full-time contract. If you are an experienced HCPC registered SLT eager to make a difference in children's lives, this could be the perfect role for you. Work independently across diverse settings and help children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and speech sound disorders.

What you will do:

• Conduct assessments and provide therapy for children with SLCN, DLD, ASD, and speech sound disorders.
• Deliver school-based interventions and staff training sessions to enhance child development support.
• Liaise effectively with families and education teams to ensure cohesive care planning.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff to build a supportive learning environment within the team.

Qualifications / Requirements / Person Specification:

• Essential: HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist.
• Essential: Proven experience with school-age caseloads.
• Essential: Ability to work independently across multiple settings.
• Desirable: Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
• Desirable: Previous experience at Band 7 or in a supervisory role.
• Requirement: Must be a car driver to ensure mobility across various work locations.
